Our community was founded in 1991 and since 2011 it is a Society of Apostolic Life, called Marian Community of Reconciliation. From the beginning people started to call us “Fraternas” (from the Spanish word for community: Fraternidad).

What inspires our consecration?
The Sacred Scriptures, and two passages that most appeal to us are: the mystery of the Incarnation of the Lord and the Victory of his love on the Cross.

We find daily nourishment in the Word of God which, through the grace of the Holy Spirit, takes on life in us so that we are able to take the message of Christ to all those whom he entrusts to us.
Jesus Christ “came not to be served but to serve” (Mt 20:28) and so, like him, we want to put our whole lives at the service of evangelization. Our commitment of obedience allows us to be sent to different cultures and places to proclaim the Good News, becoming “all things to all men … for the sake of the Gospel” (1 Cor 9:22-23).
The Fraternas consecrate our lives to God to proclaim His love in the midst of the world. We seek to be sisters in the Lord who, hand in hand with our Mother Mary, proclaim the Gospel and bear witness to reconciliation.
