Community Life

“I give you a new commandment: love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you should also love one another. This is how everyone will know that you are my disciples: if you love one another.” Jn 13:34-35

What makes it possible for a group of women of different ages, nationalities and cultures to be able to live together?

The love of Christ, his call to to consecrate our lives and proclaim him with other sisters as members of the same body.

We know that community life requires effort, sacrifice, surrender and charity. We strive for our communities, through the action of the Holy Spirit, to be like the first Christian community, remaining united in the same faith and mission.

One of the pillars of our community life is prayer in common, which allows us to be witnesses of the action of God in the heart of each Fraterna. When we pray in community, we experience that we are blessed by the presence of the Holy Spirit who keeps us united in faith.

Like the first disciples, we share our daily lives, our prayer and our mission with joy and simplicity.

Community life helps us to grow in holiness and makes it possible for us to offer our lives as a sincere gift to others.
