Luciane Urban, our General Superior, was invited by Formed in the United States to discuss the role of lay women in the life of the Church.
Lu never thought that the paths of the Lord would lead her to leave her native country, Brazil, being called by God to consecrate her life to the service of apostolate and the proclamation of the Good News, and later to live in Peru and the United States.
During the interview, Lu also shares her experience of having worked as a consecrated laywoman in various ecclesial settings in Colorado, Texas, and California, acknowledging that it is a challenge not without difficulties, but that the Lord always responds to the concerns and uncertainties of the journey when one is docile to Him and places all their trust in His hands.
